Widget

A widget (also called gadget / add on) is a simple application which is added to a social network such as Hyves, Facebook or desktop. Sometimes affiliates build a clever widget for a merchant.

In this widget affiliates promote products and place an affiliate link. A succesfull widget is a combination of a fun element and an interactive element.
